STAFF and customers at Curtainwise in Cumnock have helped raise almost £2,000 for Calums Cabin.
The company held a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses on Friday, October 27. Members of the community rallied round to purchase tickets with a toal of £1,800 raised for the charity.
A spokesperson for Curtainwise said: “We would like to thank all the local businesses who donated a prize for our Calums Cabin Charity draw on Friday, October 27. Also a big thank you to staff, family and friends for purchasing raffle tickets to help us raise a whopping £1,800.
“Calum’s mum and dad, Caroline and Duncan were delighted with what was raised and said this will allow three families to have a one week holiday free of charge at Calums Cabin on the Isle of Bute. A big thank you to everyone involved.”
