THE inaugural Kames Classic Car Show is set for Sunday August 3.

The Muirkirk motorsport complex will host more than 150 cars dating from the 1930s, with 70s and 80s classics like the MGB GT.

There will also be Kit Cars, Rally Cars and Racing Cars and owner’s club stands for Porsche, BMW and MG.

Organisers East Ayrshire Car Club hope it will be as successful as the Culzean Castle events they also run. The cars will be judged on all aspects of their appearance and take part in a slow speed parade around the racetrack before the best are presented with rosettes and trophies.

The show will open at 11.30am.
