THE Cumnock area has received a second potential cash boost after another wind farm developer announced plans to hand over cash to the community.
Bank Renewables have announced that they will be offering a 2.5 per cent share in their proposed High Cumnock wind farm to the community - potentially creating a minimum 3.4 million fund.

Banks Renewables recently submitted plans for the eight turbine wind farm at High Cumnock to East Ayrshire Council - also confirming that they will increase the community's share in revenue from 1.5 per to 2.5 per cent with a minimum investment of 5,000 per megawatt generated every year.
