The group emerged via the punk rock scene in the 1970’s, amassing 23 UK top 40 singles and 17 UK top 40 albums to date, in a career spanning four decades.

As one of the longest surviving and most continuously successful bands to have come out of this movement, they are known for their idiosyncratic approach to music as they explored a variety of musical styles - from new wave, art rock and gothic rock through to the sophisticated pop of some of their 1980s hits.

They had major mainstream success with their single Golden Brown and other hits include No More Heroes, Peaches, Always the Sun and Skin Deep.

Original members of the band, Jet Black (drums), Jean-Jacques Burnel (bass guitar/lead vocals) and Dave Keyfields (keyboards, vocals), will be joined by their newest member Baz Warne (guitar/lead vocals) who joined the band in 2000.
