Local people living with diabetes, or who know someone who is affected by the condition, are welcome to attend the event in the Alexander Fleming Education Centre, University Hospital Crosshouse from 9.30am until 2pm on Saturday 16 May 2015.
Professionals will be on hand to answer questions and it will be an ideal opportunity to meet other people living with diabetes and share experiences.
Presentations and information stands on the day will provide those who attend with a greater understanding of the services and support available within Ayrshire and Arran.
Diane Smith, Diabetes MCN Manager, NHS Ayrshire & Arran, said: “People are often unaware of what support is available to them and the Ayrshire Diabetes Patient Conference is a great way to find out what services and support is out there.” Places are limited so please book early. The conference costs £5, which includes lunch and refreshments. To book a place, please call Laura-Jane Truesdale on 01294 323492.
