Swashbuckling will be the order of the day at the National Trust for Scotland’s Culzean Castle and Country Park on Sunday 17 August, when it hosts its ever-popular Pirates Day.
Pirates of all ages are encouraged to come along in fancy dress for a day of sea-faring fun and there will be some treasure for the best-dressed.
Enjoy piratical crafts and other activities, try the Treasure Trail, join a pirate crew and hear some tall tales of adventure on the high seas.
The event runs from 11.00 until 16.00 on Sunday 17 August. Standard entry charges apply - free for members of the National Trust for Scotland.
