Gren Bartley made a great impression on the A’ the Airts audience when he last appeared in the arts centre in April last year. Now he’s making a welcome return to Sanquhar on Thursday May 8 at 7.30 pm, this time with Julia Disney, a highly-talented musician whose skills are attracting a lot of attention.
Hailed by Mike Harding as 'someone to look out for’, Gren is a prolific and exceptionally talented songwriter whose is renowned for his finger-picking guitar and banjo playing. His catchy melodies and lyrics have been called 'spine-tinglingly beautiful’.
This tour marks the first time Gren will be performing with multi-instrumentalist Julia Disney, whose beautiful harmonies and intricate arrangements on piano and violin offer an even greater depth to Gren’s compositions.
Remember the date and time - Thursday May 8 at 7.30 pm. You can book by phoning 01659 50514 or calling in at A’ the Airts, 8 – 12 High Street, Sanquhar.
