Young Musicians Gala concert tickets on sale now

Music lovers are in for yet another treat, when this year's Instrumental Music Service Gala Concert takes place later this month.

Talented young people from schools all over East Ayrshire will take part in live performances featuring a wide variety of instruments and styles. The Gala Concert will include brass, wind, pipe and jazz bands; vocal groups; string orchestra; soloists; and woodwind, guitar and percussion ensembles. These groups highlight the skill and commitment of the young musicians and the high-quality service provided by the tutors of the Instrumental Music Service in East Ayrshire.

The Gala Concert is on Thursday 30 September, in the Grand Hall, Kilmarnock, starting at 7.30 pm - and everyone is welcome to come along.

Tickets, costing £5.00 (£3.00 concession), go on sale from the Palace Theatre Box Office (01563 554900) on Friday 3 September. The box office will remain open until 7.15pm on the evening of this popular concert and while any unsold tickets will be available for sale, there is no guarantee of availability.

The Box Office will be closed on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 September.
