A leading cancer charity are appealing for thrill-seekers from Ayrshire to take part in the first ever zipline challenge at X-Scape, Braehead.
On Sunday 22nd of August Macmillan Cancer Support are asking daredevils to zip from the very top of X-Scape Arena- a nerve shredding test of mind over matter which will see participants sliding an exhilarating 650 feet.
Macmillan Fundraising Manager Susan Selkirk said: “We challenge everyone to show their adventurous side and do something really special to help people affected by cancer”
“It will be an amazing and memorable experience, and all the money raised will be used to support and improve the lives of local people affected by cancer.”
“Zipline places are already selling out fast so you will have to get in touch with us quickly if you want to join us for the ride of your life”.
All of the money raised from the zipline will be used to fund vital cancer services in Scotland. Macmillan provides medical, practical, financial and emotional support for cancer patients and their families.
All participants are asked to pay a registration fee of £25 and raise a minimum sponsorship of £100 and to take part you must be aged 16 or over and weight between 6 and 17.5 stone.
