East Ayrshire Council, Arts and Museums team are delighted to announce the latest addition to the Autumn programme at the Grand Hall, Kilmarnock: Jedward!!

Seven months after finishing fifth on the UK's biggest TV show The X Factor; Jedward, the duo who caused a national sensation with their gravity defying quiffs and lively performances have just released their debut album 'Planet Jedward' and have now announced their forthcoming tour.

Following on from their Number Two smash hit single Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby) the dynamic duo, now signed to Universal Music Ireland, are set to follow up their previous chart success with their debut album Planet Jedward. The album will feature the high-octane favourites from their hugely successful sell out Irish tour, all reinterpreted in the boys' inimitable style. The Jedward phenomenon shows no sign of abating in 2010, with even the Labour and Conservative parties each releasing posters parodying the twins during their general election campaigns. With celebrity fans from Pixie Geldof to Roger Taylor and a sell-out 27 date Irish tour, the quiffed-wonders are the undisputed winners of X Factor 2010, despite not making the finals.

Planet Jedward has been produced by Nigel Wright, famed for his work with Take That, Boyzone and his long association with Andrew Lloyd Webber, as well as his role as Musical Director of The X Factor since 2004.

Jedward are managed by Louis Walsh and signed to Universal Music Ireland. The album is being released in Ireland via Universal Ireland and the UK album is being released through Absolute Records.

With two Irish tours and a debut album 'Planet Jedward' under their belts, the Jedward phenomenon shows no sign of abating. Now, the duo that caused a national sensation with their gravity defying quiffs and lively performances are embarking on their first UK tour, performing high-octane favourites from their hugely successful sell out Irish tour, all reinterpreted in the boys' inimitable style.

Planet Jedward will perform at the Grand Hall on Sunday 14th November at 7.30pm.
