Help raise money for Malcolm Sargent House

To celebrate her 5th year in business, Musical Minis Ayrshire franchisee Liz Rowe is hosting a family fun day on Sunday 21st March 2010. The event will be held in the Park Hotel, Kilmarnock. They anticipate having 500+ guests at the event and the target audience will be children aged 0-8 and their families.

They will be raising funds for Malcolm Sargent House in Prestwick who provide holidays for children with cancer and their families. They are raising money, in conjunction with West FM, to build a Musical garden and they need to raise £25,000 by April 2010.

Musical Minis is a fun music group for babies and toddlers. Liz currently has classes in Kilmarnock, Prestwick, Irvine, Darvel, Stewarton & Mauchline and has over 100 children attending weekly classes. Tickets will be sold throughout Ayrshire for the event to both Musical Minis members and the general public.

1. SPONSORSHIP

We are looking for sponsors to cover the costs of the event (this will ensure all money raised through ticket sales will go to the charity). We have varying costs related in staging the event therefore even small businesses can sponsor an attraction/entertainer. In exchange for sponsorship your business will be credited in the event programme as sponsors and we can also give out leaflets/flyers promoting your business. We may also be able to offer a table at our event if you have a product suitable to our age range (ie Kids aged 0-8).

We require sponsorship for the following:

Party Palz Mascot characters - £30 per character (ie Fifi, Dora, etc)

Face Painter -£50

Magician -£150

Animal Man/petting zoo - £250

Venue -£300

Chocolate Fountain -£325

2. DONATE A PRIZE

We need raffle prizes. The more prizes we have, the more tickets we'll sell, the more money we make. We would especially like to offer prizes suited to the family market ie childrens products, family days out etc.

3. DONATE YOUR TIME

If you can offer something you feel would add to the entertainment programme for our day then why not get involved. We want to make the day all about having Fun. Give us a call and let us know how you can help, we are still adding to the programme of events and would love to hear your ideas.

AND THE FINAL OPTION...

4. DONATE MONEY

You can simply donate cash to the charity by contacting us, we will collect your donation and add it to any amount we raise at our event. - Why not encourage your staff to have a sponsored event or use collection cans for your customers to make donations.

Our event will be advertised throughout Ayrshire and we hope that Ayrshire businesses will support our fundraising efforts. Our aim for the day is to provide a fun day out for young children and their families whilst raising as much money as we can for those children/families less fortunate than ourselves.
