LUGAR Boswell have targeted fresh fire power up top as they prepare for the new season.
Lauchlan Millar's men failed to find the net during their two weekend outings and are keen to add new options to their attacking ranks.
Club secretary Kennie Young said: "We didn't score against Hurlford on Saturday or St Mirren on Sunday which shows where we need to improve.
"Lauchlan is after a couple of new faces before the season starts and if that happens we would expect a new striker to be one of them."
The club are this week hopeful of tying up a deal to bring former player Paddy Clelland back to Rosebank Park.
Meanwhile recently returned keeper Ronnie Davis has been confirmed as Lugar's No 1 following the departure of Andy Leishman to Auchinleck Talbot.
Millar's men continue their friendly action when they welcome Blantyre Celtic to Rosebank Park tonight (Wednesday). Kick off is at 6.45pm.
On Saturday Lanark will visit Lugar with a kick off time of 2pm.
