East Ayrshire Council hosted a special dinner recently to mark Auchinleck Talbot FC's success in winning the Scottish Junior Cup in the club's centenary year.

Held at the Railway Hotel in Auchinleck, the event saw guests including Provost Stephanie Young, Des Browne MP, Cathy Jamieson MSP, Councillor Iain Linton, Depute Leader of the Council and Chairman of Kilmarnock FC Michael Johnston celebrate with members of the club's committee and players past and present.

The Citylink Scottish Junior Cup took pride of place at the dinner and Provost Young said: "How very appropriate that the cup is back here for the eighth time in this, the year of the Homecoming. The cup is obviously very much "at home" in Auchinleck!"
