Boss Hails Stars

Talbot boss Tommy sloan reckons his "gutsy" heroes can keep piling on the trophies after watching them win the club"s eigth Scottish Junior Cup.

Sloan saw his side combat the extreme heat at Rugby Park to defeat Clydebank 2-1. It was his second Junior Cup success as boss, but he believes this one tasted even sweeter than the last three years ago.

He said: 'There was more pressure on us this time around. So I was delighted to get over the line and win the Scottish Cup for the second time as manager is a great feeling.'
