NEW STRIPS Donsport have the new football tops ready. Both home and away tops are £25 for kids and £30 for adults. The new top is sponsored by Charlesfort, a company ran by a couple of Nock fans David Weir and Colin McCall & also The Social Club & Community Enterprise. Season Ticket holders will get a 10 per cent discount.

NEW SIGNINGS Kieron Maxell, who played in the recent Buffs tournament has joined the club. He is 18years old and can play in midfield or up front.

Kieren Wood has also joined after a successful loan period last season.

Joining them in signing up, is club captain Chris McKnight, Chris penned a new two year contract.

AGM The AGM has been moved to Sunday August 24 at 11am A large turnout is requested.

SEASON TICKETS 2014/15 Seasons tickets are now on sale, same price as last season. - £50 for adults and £25 for concessions. Neil Robertson, Martin Mitchell & Rab Cree have the tickets, but order them from any committee member. Or if you require further information, contact cjfcinfo@gmail.com.

SUPPORTERS WALL OF APPRECIATION This will be featured in an area on the enclosure wall, behind the dug outs.

A brick with two lines (16 characters per line, including spaces) is £25.

POUNDS 4 PROGRESS The club are still looking for as many fans to back the club in this way, £10 per month (or whatever you can afford). This CAN make a difference for YOUR club. New ball netting behind the goals, new bird netting on underside of the enclosure, the usual excellent attention to the field and general clean up at the front of the pavilion. They have been assisted by Princes Trust, Things-tae-Dae Group and lads from the Criminal Justice System. Well done and thanks to one and all.

Please contact Oz via email - owencjfc@hotmail.com COMMUNITY ENTERPRISE Following from the successful Easter Camp, 66 youths aged 5-12 years attended each day of the 5-day Community Enterprise Summer Camp held at Townhead last week. The coaching was provided by our Club and Volunteer Development Officer, Scott Guy, and his team of excellent coaches who were acclaimed by parents and players alike for their professional, and fun, skills development programme.

These coaches are being put through their SFA badges by the Enterprise in return for providing volunteer coaching. The coaches were also quick to acclaim the commitment and attitude of those who participated. Also, grateful thanks to Heather and Amy for their support during the week. Well done to everyone!

There will be an Autumn Camp in October, dates will be advised.

The Girls Football sessions continue after the school holidays. Anyone aged 5-12 is welcome to join in. The sessions are at Townhead on Monday evenings from 6-7pm and are delivered by Scott and the coaches. The cost is £2 each week. We have registered the 8-12 girls' age group with the Scottish Women's Football Association, and aim to play competitive games as a team this season.

Also on the good news front, a new Cumnock Juniors under-19s team has been formed. Brian McLuckie indicated that this age group is his preference to extend the youth and amateur pathway to support the senior team. Any players interested please contact Keith Allen.

The award of £50,000 from Minerals Trust means we are 65% of the way with funding for the new 3G. We have targeted sources for the balance and are planning for a spring/summer opening next year.  SOCIAL CLUB NEWS Nostalgia is definitely the theme of entertainment in August and September. On Sunday August 17it's the Grease & Dirty Dancing fun day. This is a fundraising event for the football club. With a buffet and £100 raffle, the ticket price of £5 is great value.

On Sunday September 21 it's the Glam Rock show with the fantastic Electric Warrior. At both shows, the AA Disco will continue the themes and a chance to show your talents on the karaoke. Tickets are £5 and available now.

The upgrade of the Ladies Toilet and the new Accessible Toilet are complete. The Ladies Toilet was funded by weekly raffles in the club, at Urban Hair and the Coffee Mill.  Grateful thanks to the Women's Committee and to Stewart Trousedale for his excellent joinery. The work on the Accessible Toilet was undertaken by the Princes Trust. Thanks to everyone who contributed in any way to these ventures.

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY August The Hall of Fame Awards are being held on Friday August 22. Tickets are only £2 and music provided by Caledonia Blue. Please come along and show your appreciation for those who have given so much on and off the field to the Club. Look out for the voting slips to choose your player as a Legend and person as a Hero who you would like to see recognised for their exceptional service to the Club.

We are looking for each supporter to pick three footballers & two non playing staff people to join the Hall of Fame members Maxi McCulloch, Mick Phillips & Bobby McCulloch on the Legends, Jock McCurdy & George Morton in the hero’s capacity.

Just have a wee trip down memory lane, flick through one of you Cumnock Juniors books for inspiration maybe. Pick some guys and gals who have helped Cumnock Juniors over the years.

Voting closes Monday August 10. September Sunday 21 is the annual Cumnock 5 amd 10k runs. Although NOT an actual CJFC event, it is organised by one of our supporters and we wish to offer him all the backing we can. Check out the Facebook page, just search for Cumnock 10k.

Sunday 28 is the sponsored walk. If you fancy joining us for a stroll, pick up a sponsor sheet and raise a pound or two for the club as you get your exercise. Or if you can't manage it, sponsor a friend who can. 1am start from the Social Club.

October Friday 17 we will celebrate the 25th anniversary of our 1989 Scottish Cup win. Dancing the night away to Local Heroes, I am sure it will be an even bigger success than the recent 35th celebrations. £2 a ticket, get yours ordered soon!

December Saturday 6 is our annual Sportsmans Dinner in the Town Hall. Buller will once again be the host, joined on the too table by Eric Davidson & Donald Findlay QC.
