AUCHINLECK Talbot have announced a football foundation to give people in the local community the chance to develop various skills.
The foundation formed in January this year and is hoping to establish itself as a community football club.
In 2012, Talbot was the first junior club in the Ayrshire region to achieve the Scottish FA Quality Mark “Standard” Award.
The club will be holding a football festival as part of the foundation, due to take place on Sunday June 13 at Beechwood Park.
The 2014 tournament promises to have a packed programme, non-stop football on an excellent pitch together with additional activities.
The boys format and order of play will be; 2008 & 2007 four-a-side – Maximum 20 Teams - will play matches on Sunday 13th June from 9:30am till 11am. 2006 four-a-side – Maximum 20 Teams - will play matches on Sunday 13th June from 11:30am till 1pm. 2005 seven-a-side – Maximum 16 Teams - will play matches on Sunday 13th June from 1:30pm till 3:50pm and second section from 4:10pm till 6:30pm.
Applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis – On acceptance into the festival it is the responsibility of each participating team to seek the appropriate permission with their Local Association and National Association as appropriate, on-line SYFA Permits will be available from June 2014.
Festival Fees are detailed below: Development 4’s - £20 per team entry (total squad of 12) Seven-a-side - £30 per team entry (total squad of 14)
