TARGET: Leishman

SCOTTISH Cup winners Hearts are weighing up a move for in-form Auchinleck Talbot keeper Andy Leishman.

The Jambos have been keeping tabs on the former Lugar No.1 since his stand-out Scottish Cup performance at Tynecastle in January.

Sunday's Junior Cup Final clash with Shotts Bon Accord at Livingston's Braidwood Motors Stadium could be one of Leishman's last appearances in a Talbot shirt as Tommy Sloan's men bid to stretch their wins in the tournament to a tantalising 10.

But while gaffer Sloan knows his keeper is hot property he is not yet resigned to losing him.

He said: "Andy was up training with Hearts two weeks ago but I've not heard anything else since.

"There's certainly a lot of interest in him which is understandable as he's been a fantastic player in his two years with us.

"To be honest I think for Andy to go it would need to be a good full-time contract that entices him away. I can't see him leaving to go part time anywhere so we'll see how that one pans out."
