DIZZY HEIGHTS: Leishman

ANDY LEISHMAN is desperate to land Auchinleck Talbot's tenth Junior Cup title - but admits he's just happy to be going into this year's final 100 per cent fit.

The Bot No.1 has had a stand-out second season between the sticks and was even voted player of the round following his heroics in January's 1-0 Scottish Cup defeat at Hearts.

He knows the Beechwood Park men will be expected to extend their current Scottish record of nine Junior Cup titles when they face Shotts in Sunday's final.

But he's putting that to one side and is relishing the fact his 2012 final preparations have not been curtailed by injury.

Having dislocated a finger eight days before last year's Rugby Park showpiece with Musselburgh, Leishman - who had been an ever present all season - was forced to sit out the build-up as he sweated on his fitness.

He said: "It was a frustrating time as I thought I may miss the most important game of the year having played in every one prior to it."
