JOHN Stewart and Willie Howie are confident they are the long-term solution to take Glenafton Athletic forward.
The interim management team will be interviewed for the Loch Park hotseat on Friday and insist the side's last three performances prove they have what it takes to turn their fortunes around.
The club has confirmed they will now interview four applicants for the vacant position following Mark Shank's departure.
But having taken temporary charge for the last fortnight Stewart and Howie have developed a taste for the role.
Stewart said: "We've totally turned it round. We beat Muirkirk 6-0 and we really took the game to Cumnock and Talbot last Wednesday and Saturday and were unlucky to lose by a goal to each.
"We're very confident about our chances of getting the job full-time and we know the players are behind us."
