HAPPY DAYS: Cochrane when he first signed for Nock back in 2005.

By Alistair Neil

CUMNOCK have re-signed Robbie Cochrane from Premier rivals Kilbirnie Ladeside.

Cochrane played in Saturday's friendly victory over Lesmahagow after returning from a four year spell at the Blasties.

The former Kilmarnock defender has been one of Cumnock's top signing targets this summer and had also attracted interest from Largs Thistle.

Boss Stevie Farrell said: "We identified Robbie early in the close season as a player we wanted to bring in so we're delighted to get him."
