Ayr United's under 15 side produced a fine performance , both as a team and individually, against Stranraer this weekend.

They started very slowly during the game but managed to produce a performance worthy of the goals they scored. Mark Shankland scored an exceptional hat trick as well as Chris Kelly scoring a double. Gary Giffin and Ryan Rowe both got their names on the scoresheet for the under 15 side.

After the game Coach Davie White said "We started very slowly today and we challenged the players to perform better. To the players credit they responded well and they started attacking and defend better as a team. The players grew in confidence as individuals and as a team as the game progressed, and when this happened we played some very good football."
