Ex-Cumnock star Keir Samson hass be training with Auchinleck Talbot as he bids to make a long awaited return to football after a serious injury.
Talbot boss Tommy Sloan is always on the lookout for the right player to strengthen his side.
“Keir has been injured since last year,” said Sloan. “He’s been in at our training but it’s a hard injury to shake off. If we could [I’d like to make him a Talbot player].
“It’s a serious injury he had and he’s played matches with it which he probably shouldn’t have done so that’s what is holding it up.
“He’s a player I’ve always liked and he’s keen to come to us but he’s not fit and it’s one of those things that he can’t shake off. It’s got to be right before he comes back.”
