GLENAFTON ATHLETIC kept their title hopes alive with a hard-earned draw against Kilbirnie Ladeside.
Chris Dallas equalised for Glens who had Jamie McKernon sent off in the 1-1 draw at Valefield Park.
Glens are now nine points adrift of Super League Premier Division leaders Kilwinning Rangers with two games in hand.
In the Ayrshire District League, MUIRKIRK hoisted themselves off the bottom with a 2-1 win over promotion-chasing LUGAR BOSWELL THISTLE at Burnside Park.
Scott Steedman and Jordon Conlon scored to give 'Kirk their first win in four attempts as they moved above Ardeer Thistle and Saltcoats Victoria into ninth place.
The defeat leaves the Jaggy Bunnets three points off the promotion play-offs but they do have five games in hand on fourth-placed Maybole.
CUMNOCK were beaten 3-1 at Bellsdale Park by title-challengers Beith.
Jamie Hilton got Cumnock's goal but it turned out to be just a consolation for the away side who were already 3-0 down.
Last night's other match saw KELLO ROVERS go down 2-1 to promotion candidates Troon in the Super League First Division.
Rovers were left heart-broken after their 1-0 half time lead was cancelled out by Danny McKay before David Syme scored a 94th-minute winner at Nithside Park.
