In the Premier Division Auchinleck Talbot are favourites to retain their crown and have already been well backed at odds of EVENS with leading High Street Bookmaker William Hill. Talbot have also been priced up as 5/1 favourites to win the Scottish Junior Cup again and have been subject to a lot of interest in winning the double which has resulted in their odds for that to now be 9/1. The main challengers to Talbot's crown in the league are Hurlford (11/4) and Irvine Meadow (11/2) although both Pollok and Troon have seen some interest each way at odds of 16/1.

Glenafton will be hoping for a good season, and if you reckon they can clinch the title they are available at 25/1.

In the First Division Cumnock will hope to bounce back at the first attempt and the bookies reckon they have a good chance as they are 3/1 favourites to win the title at William Hill. Clydebank who were relegated with the Nock are second favourites at 4/1 followed by Shotts (7/1) and Kilwinning and Largs (both 8/1) In the Ayrshire District League Girvan are favourites at 5/4 followed by Irvine Vics (4/1) and Whitletts (11/2). Local sides Lugar, Kello and Muirkirk are priced up at 12/1, 20/1 and 50/1 respectively.

This weekend sees Talbot open their season at home to newly promoted Shettleston and William Hill cannot see anything but a Talbot win at Beechwood Park as they have been priced up as 2/5 favourites with Shettleston 9/2. Glenafton are also at home to a newly promoted side but the Glens are not as short as Talbot but are still favourites at 5/4 with Rob Roy at 6/4.

Cumnock head to Greenock to open their season and William Hill have them as 4/5 favourites to come home with all three points with the Home side at 23/10 in the battle of the 'Nocks.
