A FOOD Bank Drop will take place in Cumnock Shopping Precinct next week.
The collection will begin at 10am on Monday November 10.
Organisers Yes Cumnock will be gathering non-perishable items to donate to the local resource.
The items they are looking for include: Milk UHT or Powdered; Rice Pudding (Tinned); Sugar (500g); Tea Bags/Instant Coffee; Fruit Juice (Carton); Instant Mashed Potatoes; Diluted Drinks; Rice / Pasta; Soup; Tinned Meat/Fish; Pasta Sauces; Tinned Fruit; Sponge Pudding (tinned); Jam; Tomatoes (Tinned); Biscuits or Snack Bars; Cereals; Beans/Spaghetti; Vegetables (Tinned); Macaroni/Ravioli; Toiletries; Honey/ Marmalade.
The organisers thank you in advance for giving what you can.
MEANWHILE, thanks are due to the following groups who have recently made wonderful donations to the Ayrshire East Foodbank.
Netherthird Primary School, New Cumnock Primary School, St Thomas RC Church Muirkirk, Muirkirk Parish Church, Our Lady of Lourdes & St Patrick’s Church Auchinleck, Cumnock Congregational Church, Trinity Church Cumnock, St Andrew’s Church Cumnock, St John’s RC Church Cumnock, Mauchline Parish Church, YES Cumnock Alistair J. Murison, a community worker with CVO (EA) Ltd, said: “All of these are local to the Cumnock area and donated food into St John’s Church at Cumnock where the Foodbank operates from.
“Thanks to everyone involved for their help and generosity.”
