SOCIAL entrepreneurs have a chance to pitch their business ideas in a Dragons Den next month.
The second Community Challenge Event by the Coalfields Regeneration Trust will take place on Friday November 21.
Celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week, the event will give social entrepreneurs from coalfield communities the opportunity to pitch their project ideas to a panel of Dragons for awards of up to £3,000 and three months business development support.
The event will also provide a networking opportunity for coalfield social enterprises, presentations on social enterprise development in Scotland, and the opportunity to find out more about the work of The Coalfields Regeneration Trust Enterprise Programme.
To check whether your project is eligible to apply, register an expression of interest or book a place to attend contact David Wright on 01259 272127 or email david.wright@coalfields-regen.org.uk. The closing date for applications is 12 November 2014.
The event will take place at the Excelsior Stadium, Airdrie from 11am to 3pm.
