BEFORE the Riders left Sanquhar’s Queensberry Square to Ride the Marches, a Presentation of a bottle of whisky was made to retiring policeman Robert Telfer by Sanquhar Troopers Club.
Robert has accompanied club members on Ride outs and Riding of the Marches over a long numbers of years.
He has been most obliging and helpful, even when Ride outs fell behind time.
His familiar face will be missed in years to come.
Best wishes Robert, for a long and happy retirement.
