A corridor in NHS Ayrshire & Arran’s Rainbow House has been given a colourful makeover thanks to an Ayrshire College student.
Sarah Boyd from Kilwinning created a striking wall mural as part of her HND art course. The mural is now proudly on display in Rainbow House at Ayrshire Central Hospital. It shows Rainbow House and other Ayrshire landmarks using a variety of materials and beautiful bright colours.
Elaine Murray, Administration Manager, explains: “Sarah met with a range of staff at Rainbow House and decided that the mural should be as tactile and colourful as possible to appeal to our young patients. We are delighted with the final result and would like to thank Sarah very much for creating this wonderful friendly welcome for people as they come in to Rainbow House.”
