A LOCAL football festival is still looking for more teams to enter in to the bumper footy tournament.
The Land O’ Burns Football Festival takes place this year on Saturday August 2 and Sunday August 3 at Broomfield Park, Cumnock.
The festival is being supported by East Ayrshire Council, East Ayrshire Leisure, Kerr & Smith, Coneworx and Unisons and is set to be the best festival yet with Cumnock Juniors also throwing their support behind it.
The tournament will feature the boys under 6/7’s in a Fun 4’s tournament, the under 8’s in a Super 5’s tournament, Unders 9/10/11 in the Soccer 7’s and Unders 13/14/15/16 playing 11-a-side.
In the girls tournaments the Under 11’s will contest a Fun 4’s festival with the Under 13’s taking part in a Soccer 7 festival.
The 11-a-side festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 9am. The Soccer 7’s also take place the Saturday and Sunday from 10am and the Fun 4’s and Super 5’s will be only on Sunday from midday.
