THERE will be several roadworks across East Ayrshire over the coming week.
The B743 in Sorn will be closed from Monday July 28 through Monday August 4 and slight delays are expected.
The Little Sorn Bridge will also be closed from Monday July 28 through Monday August 4 due to bridge strengthening works. Slight delays are also expected.
In Lugar, Thornwood Drive will be closed due to resurfacing works. The road will be closed from Monday July 28 until Friday August 1 between 8am and 6pm. There will be NO diversion route available and there will be restricted access for residents only.
In Bellsbank, Merrick drive - from A713 Carsphairn Road to Auchenroy crescent will have convoy operation and temporary traffic lights in place due to resurfacing. Work will take place on Sunday August 3 and Monday August 4 from 8.30am until 6pm. Moderate delays are expected.
A traffic signal will be in place on Ayr Road, Cumnock, so that sewage works can take place. Work will continue from Monday July 28 until Friday August 1 and moderate delays are expected.
