There are an unusually high number of roadworks taking place across East Ayrshire this week.
The B743 in Sorn will see lane closures from Monday July 7 through Monday July 14 due to a failing retaining wall. A give and take system will be in place and slight delays are to be expected.
The B744 at the Little Sorn Bridge will be closed from Wednesday July 9 through Monday July 14 due to bridge works.
In Cumnock, New Bridge Street and the Tanyard will have three way temporary traffic lights in place whilst pavement and kerbs are resurfaced. Work will continue from Monday July 7 until Friday July 11 from 8am until 5pm. Slight delays are expected.
Loudoun Street, Mauchline will temporary traffic lights due to resurfacing work. Work will continue until Tuesday July 8 from 7am until 6pm and slight delays are expected.
There will be a road closure in Drongan at Drumwhill Road and Watson Terrace due to resurfacing works. Work will continue from Monday July 7 through Friday July 11.
The A713 south of Dalmellington will be closed 800m south of the U759 due to resurfacing work on Saturday July 12 and Sunday July 13
