A BUMPER party has been organised in Cumnock to celebrate this summer’s Commonwealth Games.
The party in Broomfield Park takes place on June 21 - on the same day as the baton arrives and is carried by locals through East Ayrshire.
A meeting to discuss the planned celebration take s place on Tuesday April 29 in Rothesay House - Meeting Room 1 from 7pm.
All donations and sponsorships welcome.

No vehicle access to park after 9am, all vehicles to vacate park for 9pm. There is no parking opposite park, parking at Cumnock Academy.
This is not a fundraising event so there will be no raffles and no alcohol allowed in the park.
Free attractions to include: all ability bikes, Cadonna’s funfare, inflatable slide, face painting, creation station: make your own commonwealth flag or baton, beat the goalie for prizes, bouncy castle, goody bags for the weans.
