THE people of Netherthird, Craigens and Skerrington are being urged to play their part in shaping the area’s future.

Letters and surveys have been sent out looking to local resident looking for their input into the way forward for the community.

They have until next week to fill out their forms before the results are collated and the group can move forward.

A spokesperson said: “There are exciting times for the community and we need 40 per cent of people to fill out their forms - otherwise we can’t move forward together with this.

“The Local Action Plan will help improve our villages and attract funding for different projects highlighted by the Community Action Plan.” The Local Action Plans are being promoted by East Ayrshire and Mauchline, New Cumnock and Cronberry, Logan and Lugar have all announced their exciting proposals over the next five years.” The results will be revealed in the Chronicle when they become available.
