Witness appeal

Police are appealing for witnesses to a road crash involving a cyclist on Monday 6th August.

Were you at the Moorfield Roundabout near to Crosshouse Hospital about 3.30pm that day ?

A cyclist was already cycling on the roundabout when a silver BMW 535 drove onto the roundabout and the two allegedly collided.

Police and an ambulance attended and the injured man was taken to Crosshouse Hospital, where he was treated for back injuries.

Work starts on NHS Ayrshire Doctors on Call (ADOC) car park, University Hospital Crosshouse

Work is due to start on Tuesday 22 April 2014 to resurface and reline the car park serving NHS Ayrshire Doctors on Call (ADOC), directly outside the main entrance to the Lister Centre at University Hospital Crosshouse. This means that the car park will be closed until Friday 9 May to enable the work to be carried out.
