Wrestler makes one final trip to home town

THE FAMILY of a Cumnock native who became a celebrity wrestler in Canada brought his brought his ashes home for a final trip this weekend.

Matt Gilmour died last year aged 79 in June 2011 - but his daughter Kathie Putman and son Sean Gilmour have carried out his final wish in returning him to his home town, and allowing his family to see their roots.

He is survived by the two, and his other son Mark who was unable to make the trip.
