Volunteers vow to transform 'eye-sore' station

IT'S an eyesore and sometimes the only thing people see when they pass through in Auchinleck for the first time.
But that could be a thing of the past after locals decided to finally take matters into their own hands and spruce up their local train station.
The Auchinleck Community Development Initiative hope to add some colour to one of Scotland's bleakest platforms.
