Vintage Rally cancelled

Ayrshire's Vintage Tractor Rally has been called off due to bad weather.
The event was due to take place on July 22 but organisers feel that it cannot go ahead following so much rain in recent weeks.
A statement reads: "In one of the most difficult decisions that Ayrshire Vintage Tractor & Machinery Club has ever made, after weeks of unprecedented rainfall, the decision has been taken to cancel the Club's 30th Annual Vintage Rally.
" Sadly this has become familiar news for many other events caught in the trap of so much inclement weather. Like our own, none of these decisions were taken lightly or without much soul searching and debate.
"We are determined to make the 2013 Rally bigger and better!!"
