Demand for action over village eyesore

A NEW Cumnock resident has raised concerns about an area of wasteground near his Glenafton drive home.

Hugh Nisbet is worried about vermin living in the long grass, flytipping and also people setting fires.

Mr Nisbet praised work which is being carried out on homes in the area - but questioned why the land is being left to get overgrown.
