Rhowain and a fellow student from Kilmarnock College present their generous donation to Sister Marie Mitchell and Sister Gail Dobie.

Ayrshire Maternity Unit's Neonatal Unit at University Hospital Crosshouse has received a very generous donation from local students.

Rhowain Priest and her fellow students at Kilmarnock College organised a jumble sale and donated the money raised to the Neonatal Unit. The unit received a wonderful donation of £135.

Caroline Blake, Clinical Midwife Manager for Neonates, commented: "On behalf of the unit, I would like to thank Rhowain and the students who took part in the jumble sale. The money raised will go towards helping the babies we look after."
