Gordon Cunningham at Catrine Primary

A PROUD Catrine man returned to his roots only hours after the run of his life.

Gordan Cunningham, 30, carried the the Olympic Torch through Ayr - and then headed back to his old school, Catrine Primary, to show it to wowed pupils.

Meanwhile Mauchline man Graeme Strawhorn also carried the torch - running through Maidens after being nominated for his tireless charity work.
