RECOGNITION: Colin Chisholm

THE man behind Cumnock's Citizen of the Year Award is to be recognised himself this summer when he takes on the role of Chieftain at the 2012 Cumnock Highland Games.

Since 1983 Colin Chisholm has chaired the organisation behind the awards, the Keir McTurk Memorial Committee, as well as taking an active role in many other organisations.

Recognising his immense contribution to Cumnock over the past 30 years, the Committee of Cumnock Highland Games has invited Colin to be Chieftain for this year's Games.
