Like a bird on a wing

LITTLE Skye Crossan said a big hello and thank-you when she met Lieutenant Angela Lewis at HMS Gannett.
It was the first time the pair had met properly - but it's fair to say there's a bit of happy history between the two.
In 2006, Angela was one of the crew on the Sea King helicopter that air-lifted mum Shirley Ann Crossan to hospital when all roads to Patna and Dalmellington were blocked off by snow - just as she went into labour with Skye.
