Investigation launched at Cumnock care home

A CARE home in Cumnock is being probed by healthcare watchdogs and East Ayrshire Council over claims of misconduct.

A spokesperson for Bute House this week confirmed "a small number" of their employees had been suspended after an investigation was launched by the Care Inspectorate.

And the facility - which currently houses 34 residents - has been told they can no longer take new patients while a full review of staff behaviour is carried out.
