Business Breakfast focuses on Energy
In these days of rising costs and tighter budgets, saving energy is a top priority for many businesses. With this in mind East Ayrshire Council's Business Development Team are hosting an "Energy Saving Business Breakfast" seminar on 9 May at the Dean Castle Visitor Centre in Kilmarnock.
Presented by the Energy Saving Scotland Advice Centre, South West, the free seminar runs from 8.30am until 10.30am and will focus on how businesses can save energy, carbon and ultimately money.
The meeting will outline the considerable financial help available to increase energy efficiency and explain how to get help with applying for interest free loans and grants. These include schemes such as Business Energy Audit, Transport Review Services and Zero Waste Scotland's waste reduction services.
Carol Andrew Business Development Adviser, East Ayrshire Council said: "This is one in a series of very popular business breakfast meetings which we have hosted to support our local companies. They provide an invaluable opportunity for networking and finding out more about all the help which we and other organisations can offer companies. We've had very positive feedback about our speakers so far and I'm sure this seminar will provide some welcome food for thought."
