RAB WILSON'S long-running battle with NHS Ayrshire and Arran chiefs took a dramatic twist this week when cops launched an investigation into the conduct of the health board.

Fraud squad police, led by Detective Chief Inspector Brian Wright, have vowed to carry out a full review over claims they failed to provide information relating to serious incidents at their hospitals.

New Cumnock nurse Rab - who first started probing the local authority in 2006 - claims they deliberately deceived him by refusing to disclose 'critical incident' reports and 'adverse events' reports.
