Young craftspeople start hard sell

LOCAL kids involved in the Knockroon Enterprise Initiative sold their first items last week - but need to flog more to keep the project running.

Youngsters from Cumnock and Auchinleck Academies have been on site providing invaluable help to the workers from Hope Homes as they construct the landmark development.

And to keep funding the skills for work initiative, which is part of the 'Curriculum for Excellence' project, the pupils are trying to raise money by selling some of the sustainable products they've skilfully crafted.
