FAMILY AFFAIR: Elizabeth feeds Donald as Jess looks on.

A FAMILY in Cumnock have gone quackers over the latest member of the family ... Donald the duck.

Jess, the collie, has been the Scott families much-loved pet for two years but his ball-fetching and tail-wagging have been overshadowed by the new addition.

Donald went from being a timid duck that roosted in the River Logan to a game bird who freely waddles into their home as he makes his daily visits.

Elizabeth, 69, said: "Donald first came on the scene in about April of last year. A local man had bought a load of ducks but they all escaped. While the rest went somewhere warmer, Donald seemed to like it around here and stayed in Cumnock.
