Strathclyde Police is seeking the assistance of the public in trying to locate the relatives of a man who died in Catrine on Friday 27 January 2012.

Fifty five year-old Alexander McPheators was found dead within his home in Mauchline Road, Catrine on Friday 27 January 2012. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Enquiries so far have revealed he was married to a lady called Mary but they later separated. It's possible Mr McPheators may have a daughter living somewhere in the Ayrshire area.

Anyone with any information or knowledge concerning Mr McPheators or his relatives is asked to contact Constable Samantha Briggs, Kilmarnock Police Office on telephone number 01563 505124.
