The Chronicle ran this archive shot two weeks ago of Bankend Mill Staff at a night out.

Once again, Bobby Grierson has come forward to point out his mother was in the shot.

He said: "My mother Catherine McHugh, married name Grierson, is seated 1st in the front row. She was a mohair weaver at Bankend Mill, Ayr Road from 1950 for several years."

  2nd row down from the back,3rd and 4th men,my dad Sam Truesdale,and my uncle John Morrison,behind him my mum Chrissie and in front of him my aunt Margaret Morrison.
