Is this Cumnock Public School?

This mystery picture ran in the Chronicle two weeks ago - and reader Bobby Grierson thinks he might have the answer.

The person who handed in the shot admitted to being puzzled but Bobby thinks it might be the school, in Barrhill Road.

He said: "I think my grandmother is in the phot,o 7th from the left, 2nd row from bottom. Her name is Anne Anderson Cameron Hyslop, married name Grierson, and she was about 6 in this photo."

Is Bobby right?
